Short version: this site collects as little as possible. No tracking, no ads, no selling data. Here’s exactly what happens.
Who is responsible
This website is run by William Doornekamp, Hoevelaken, the Netherlands. Questions about your data? E-mail william.doornekamp@gmail.com.
Contact form
When you use the contact form, your name, e-mail address, optional company name and message are sent to me by e-mail. They are not stored in the website’s database. I use them only to reply to you, and delete the e-mail when it’s no longer needed for our contact.
Hosting and server logs
The site is hosted by mijn.host in the Netherlands. Like any web server, it may briefly log technical data such as your IP address and browser type, to keep the site secure and working. A security service on the server uses this data only to block attacks.
Cookies
This site itself does not use tracking or advertising cookies. Fonts are served from this website, not from an external service. Only functional cookies may be set, for example to remember your language choice. The one exception is embedded content from other platforms, explained below.
Embedded videos and content
Some pages show videos from YouTube, and pages in The Workshop may show content from platforms like Spotify or Pinterest. When such a page loads, that platform can set cookies and collect data about your visit, under its own privacy policy. Prefer to avoid that? Watch or open the content directly on the platform instead.
External links
Links to sites like LinkedIn or Instagram take you to services with their own privacy policies. I’m not responsible for how they handle your data.
Your rights
Under the GDPR (AVG) you can ask to see, correct or delete the personal data I hold about you, and object to its use. E-mail me and I’ll respond within four weeks. You can also file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
